The Brief
Central FS were hired by Torelli Furniture Ltd for an installation and maintenance takeover to update their electrical systems and lighting in their warehouse.
Key Issues
As the work had to be completed during the operational hours of the warehouse, processes were put in place to ensure that the running of the company was not affected.
Much of the installation involved working at heights, so necessary equipment such as scissor lifts were acquired to complete the job.
Approach Taken
The job began with a pre-start meeting to go over all details regarding the project. The job commenced according to the program of works. On-site meetings were held every week for regular updates on progress.
Outcome
Once the installation was completed, all testing and commissioning was carried out, all certifications were issued, and the handover was completed. The client was very pleased with the scope of work performed, and the target times were met.
